Six Degrees Of Freedom

A computer is between being asleep and awake; in this semi-lucid state the computer dreams. In this dream, the computer is on a mission to make the perfect show.

This project was a collaboration with Lisa Wymore and Sheldon Smith who run Disappearing Acts and the Z-Lab at UC Berkeley. I created real-time, generative graphics by porting Processing into Isadora and helped with scene/lighting design. The set is composed of white boxes that resemble pixels or voxels which start out as the interior of a cube, but throughout the show the walls of the cube become deconstructed and therefore more spatial. I also created the poster and program ad.
