Potrero Hill Library
The 21st first century requires the library to house a variety of programs that accommodate private and public reading, new media such as computers, and a variety of ages. I approach how pairs of voids intersect within a box to create captured solids. The captured solids create nodal types of programs and volumetric conditions; private programs exist within the captured solids, and public programs exist within the volumes surrounding the captured solids.
